Butterfly's Love

A warm and sunny day not long ago
I saw a lovely butterfly on bloom.
I watched her dance from up and below
And wondered at the beauty from cocoon.

Her sucking mouth to take the sweet to self.
But giving back much more where she had been.
‘Cause fruit from bloom can only come itself
From butterfly or bee day’s regimen.

“Come quickly Jeannie,” I called in my delight
“To bring a camera and keep this view.”
She hurried and came quickly into sight
Our hopes to savor special rendezvous.

But pretty butterfly was gone above.
She took for self but left her gift of love.
